What is this role?
Cirkul is seeking a Front End Developer. This person will have a passion for creating innovation, engaging web user experiences and has an eye for good design.
What does an average day look like?
- Driving Results: Update existing website content, adding new types of templates, pages, and functionality. Identify bugs and implement hotfixes
- Taking Ownership: Build high-quality, responsive layouts with smooth interactions, transitions, and animations working alongside our creative and product teams.
- Making Decisions: Develop responsive code that looks great on all devices (mobile and desktop). Manage technology integrations - ecommerce, shipping, etc.
- Cultivating Relationships: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for development
- Instilling Trust: Contribute code that is clean, reusable, and scalable
- Customer Focus: Assist in reporting on our website conversion and behavior analytics
What background should you have?
- 3-5 years of professional web development experience
- 2 years of experience working with React and Javascript
- Previous experience with Shopify is preferred
- Strong ability to design front-end web applications with a focus on high performance and responsive design
- Maintain compliant code with accessibility standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills throughout all levels of the organization
